Top 10 ultrasonography articles for the hemodynamic and pulmonary monitoring of critically ill patients

A new year as passed and we are committed to find the top 10 articles (according to FICC) in the medical literature for the hemodynamic and pulmonary monitoring of the critically ill patient using #POCUS.
We´ve performed a broad search in the main journals, social media and personal communications of whats trending on the internet regarding the #ultrasonographic hemodynamic, pulmonary and neurological evaluation of patients in the ICU or the emergency department.
The International forum on Critical Care (FICC) wishes all a merry christmas and a happy new year!

New posters for the "First International forum on the use of ultrasound for hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring applied to the critically ill patient", Bogota April 27th-29th 2017.

The Hospital Universitario, Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá (@FSFB_Salud) and the International Forum on Critical Care (FICC) invites the para/medical community to participate in the "First International forum on the use of ultrasound for hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring applied to the critically ill patient", Bogota April 27th-29th 2017.
Confirmed speakers include Prof. Daniel De Backer (Belgium), Prof. Paul Mayo (USA), Dr. Antoine Herpain (Belgium), Dr. Patrick Sampaio (Brasil) and Dr. Carlos A. Santacruz H (Colombia). We focus on a practical learning experience for all attendees in order to promote the use of ultrasonography in the hemodynamic and respiratory management of critically ill patients. Students will focus on learning specific ultrasound techniques deemed to be necessary for the management un-stable critically ill patients.
For more information, please contact intforumcc@gmail.com.
Hope to see you all in Bogotá

Unconventional-convention : "Ask the expert" session with Prof. Paul Mayo and Dr. Carlos A. Santacruz H wile enjoying beautiful Cartagena, Colombia.

How many times have you travel to an off-shore congress and didn't had the time to explore the city? Moreover, did you ever meet with your favorite speaker or interact with him/her in a relaxing ambient? Usually, we go from our hotel room to the congress floor and back again. Once you get the chance of an afternoon off, it´s to late and your plane leaves in 2 hours.
The International forum in Critical Care (FICC) and NomadRoots travel agency are promoting the unconventional-convention after the First International Forum on the use of ultrasound for hemodynamic and pulmonary monitoring, Bogotá 2017. An exclusive group of participants get to travel with world renown Prof Paul Mayo and Dr. Carlos Santacruz to beautiful Cartagena, Colombia and participate in the "Ask the expert" session. The trip includes 5-star hotel accommodation, one-to-one conversations with Prof. Paul Mayo, private yacht tour to the near-by islands, fine dinning in Cartagena´s restaurants district and much more.
